Here are some treatment modalities we may provide in your individualized program in conjunction with your goals, past experiences, and current presentation. As always, we believe in an evidence-based approach to rehab that always includes pairing modalities with specific corrective exercises to make a lasting change.
Manual Therapy
methods such as joint mobilization and soft tissue techniques like deep tissue massage, active-release, and therapist guided passive range of motion. Manual therapy has proven effective in addressing various musculoskeletal conditions. It is widely known to reduce pain, improve mobility and enhance overall function in cases of back pain, neck pain, and other orthopaedic conditions. Patients often report immediate relief following treatment, with improved ability to perform daily tasks.
Dry needling is a treatment that healthcare providers use for pain and movement issues associated with myofascial trigger points. With this technique, a provider inserts thin needles into or near your trigger points and uses electrical stimulation stimulate muscles, which causes them to contract or twitch. This helps relieve pain and improve your range of motion. This technique can help relieve hyperactive “tight” muscles, or stimulate underactive “weak” muscles that are not able to contract efficiently.

Therapeutic Dry Cupping
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine where a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. The idea is to draw blood to or away from parts of your body and allow movement of lymph and extracellular fluid. People get it for many reasons, such as pain and inflammation relief, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
